Hey everybody, wanted to share a new creation. I created this track after getting better from being sick. I have also been visiting with my mother because she has been in the hospital dealing with severe health problems. So the sound of the track is somber in nature, maybe even sad you could say. As many of you know, I am attending classes to learn how to make music, so this creation is just practice and experimentation. The song is in the key of a major if I’m not mistaken and I really just sat down for 20 minutes and came up with this court progression/Melody. I hear a lot of things that I want to fix or try to correct, but thought I would share something since I have not been sharing music and media that relates to what I am pursuing nowadays.
All of the instruments and the vocal are sampled recordings that are triggered by midi within my digital audio workstation Pro Tools. All of this music and sound was created in the computer, using a Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol midi controller. Essentially the controller is a keyboard, electronic keyboard/piano that A person can play.
If people are interested, maybe I will create a live zoom conference to demonstrate the software and equipment, especially for those blind/visually impaired individuals who have questions about this kind of software/technology.
